Introduction:

 

QC Handyman, a leading provider of handyman services, is currently hiring a skilled and versatile Handyman / Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this integral role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various residential and commercial systems and fixtures. Your expertise in handyman work will play a vital role in delivering high-quality service to our valued clients.

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Perform a variety of handyman tasks, including carpentry, painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, and general maintenance.

• Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance and repair needs in residential and commercial properties.

• Repair and replace fixtures, equipment, and appliances as needed.

• Install and assemble furniture, shelving, fixtures, and other items.

• Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies while ensuring excellent customer service.

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and client interactions.

• Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to ensure successful project completion.

• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Keep updated with industry trends and advancements to enhance skills and knowledge continually.

Qualifications:

 

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training is preferred.

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Handyman, Maintenance Technician, or in a similar role.

• Proficiency in multiple handyman disciplines, including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, and general repairs.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot various systems and fixtures.

• Knowledge of safety protocols and ability to work safely, adhering to regulations and guidelines.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.

• Basic computer skills for record-keeping and communication purposes.

• Physically fit and able to lift heavy objects, perform manual labor, and work in various weather conditions.

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
